Privacy policy

What we collect when you book, why, and what you can ask us to do with it. Written for Thailand’s PDPA and the EU GDPR.

Who is responsible

What we collect when you book

  • Your name, email address and phone or WhatsApp number
  • Your hotel name and room number, for pickup
  • Your tour date and the number of adults and children
  • Your nationality group (Thai national or foreign visitor), where a park fee applies
  • Anything you write in the notes field

We do not collect passport numbers or ID card numbers online.

Health information in the notes field

If you tell us about an allergy, a medical condition or that someone cannot swim, that is health information. We use it only to keep you safe on the trip, share it only with the crew and guide running your tour, and delete it with the rest of your booking details. You do not have to give it, but we cannot plan for what we do not know.

Why we use it

  • To run the trip you booked — pickup, boat manifest, park fees
  • To contact you about your booking, including changes for weather
  • To keep the financial records Thai law requires

We do not sell your details and we do not send marketing unless you ask for it.

Who we share it with

  • Our boat crew and guides — names, pickup and notes only
  • Our payment provider, to take your payment
  • Google, which provides our email service and website statistics
  • Our website host in Thailand

Cookies and statistics

We use Google Analytics to see how the site is used. It only runs if you accept statistics cookies in the banner shown on your first visit, and you can change your choice at any time from the cookie settings link.

How long we keep it

[TO CONFIRM] Retention period. Suggested: booking contact and notes deleted 12 months after the trip; invoices and payment records kept for the period required by Thai accounting law.

Your rights

You can ask us to show you the information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or stop using it. Email info@phuketandamantravel.com and we will reply within 30 days. You can also complain to Thailand’s Personal Data Protection Committee, or to the data protection authority in your own country if you live in the EU.
