Overview
Aquaria Phuket is Thailand's largest aquarium, on the B1 floor of Central Phuket Floresta. Around 4,800 square metres of galleries take you from a freshwater rainforest and river caves to rocky shores with penguins, a stingray bay, a sunken-ship zone and the main South China Sea tank, which holds more than 3.5 million litres of seawater and is crossed by an ocean tunnel.
Through the day there are mermaid shows in the main tank and feeding sessions for the otters, penguins, sharks and rays, with a touch pool and jellyfish near the end. It is air-conditioned and stroller-friendly, so it suits families and rainy days. Choose the combo ticket to add MAYA, the immersive media art museum on the same floor.
